I haven't seen most of these movies, but definitely agree about John Bender. Also thumbs up for Peter Sarsgaard in Jarhead. I haven't seen that movie, but I think Sarsgaard is hot in general.

He tried picking her up at Narcissus, a club that used to be a couple blocks from Fenway Park. This was in the early 90's just before I met her. He was in VIP and all that, thought he could get with anyone he wanted. She blew him off and he ended up hooking up with her GF, who she's still good friends with. In fact, if you've seen me post about her friend with all the chihuahuas, that's her. Whenever they go shopping together or she comes over, I text my wife a bunch of gifs of AMH from the Sixteen Candle days to make fun.

The real bromance was between Burt and Kirk Douglas.

How did I miss that. He was another crush of mine.
