Before watching it, "They Shoot Horses, Don't They" sounds so silly, I can see why it never got "big" - I was 17, saw it, even remember the year it was made and how Jane Fonda was in it a year ago after my professor said it was his favorite film. I went back 15 years in a second with my memory, and now it's a Top 5.
After watching it, it makes plenty of sense.
