Probably a discussion that has been had many times before, but maybe time for a refresh.

I watched 'Blind Chance' (1987) recently, and that has to be up there...can't even discuss it for spoilers.

Yeah, this is one of those topics that is a spoilers minefield!

Still, I'd say that I love the final moments of two recent sci-fi films, Predestination and Annihilation.

From recent viewing, the final shot (and really the whole final 20 minutes) of Kanal were something else.

You took the words right out of my mouth, JDG!.. This is my favorite, and there's not a close second. It helps to have seen the whole movie, but the final 2 minutes is powerful enough.



I agree about The Third Man. It's amazing from pretty much every aspect.


One interesting and maybe polarizing one that came to mind, Enemy.
