My R12 nom:
Paul Allen And The Underthinkers - Six Strings From Hell

A system of cells interlinked
i should nominate some prettier black metal tracks to see if i can help its rep.

My favorite black metal bands tend to make tracks that are longer than 10 minutes. The genre doesn't do well, so I tend to avoid posting it in the game. I figured melodic death is the most accessible of the extreme genres, but it does poorly, also. The brick walled production doesn't do it any favors.

A black metal hi-nrg showtune about a dead horse on a ranch could be a winner though. If such a song exists that is.

The brick walled production doesn't do it any favors.

This probably speaks to a lot of my problem with a lot of these kinds of songs. But I'm also an outlier in that, even though I love melody, I don't particularly like it in metal very much (with the rare exception for a band like Iron Maiden). I like my metal reduced to its purest most elemental form, almost pure white noise, which is why I greatly greatly prefer black or sometimes death metal.
