Movie Scenes That Touch Your Heart

Tools

This doesn't have to be scenes that made you cry...just scenes from a film that touched you. Lots of choices to choose from.

I'll start with 'The Karate Kid.' Specifically the scene where it is Daniel's birthday and Mr. Miyagi told him to choose any car he wanted as a present. After getting in it he looks at Mr. Miyagi and says, "You're the best friend I've ever had."

So what are your heart-touching scenes?

Two movies that I feel have heart touching scenes are Beaches - When Barbara Hershey's character is about to pass away and shortly after that when Bette Midler talks to her young daughter. Also, The Color Purple has hear touching scenes through out it.

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
In the movie Always (1989), when Dorinda dances with Pete's ghost.

I love the understated and semi-optimistic ending of Saturday Night Fever.
