Hellloooo Cindy - Scary Movie (2000)
Count of Monte Cristo - 2002 - best revenge
Best revenge story I can think of . I liked that and I thought Jim Caviezel was very good. I like the 1998 Gérard Depardieu miniseries best.

Pride and Prejudice - 2005 - best romance
That was better than I expected but the 1995 series seems unsurpassable.
You guys should read the book (count of Monte cristo) It’s mammouth though but the best book I’ve ever read. I originally saw the 2002 version which I did like very much. Loved the jail scenes and love his side kick. After having read the book though....it really pales in comparison. I haven’t seen the mini series but I’d say that that medium would be more suited given how much content there is to cover.

So the book spoilt the movie version for me but it’s worth it.

I should read it it's true . Apparently the Alan Badel series is the closest to the novel and that is fantastic. The difference in the many adaptations that stands out most to me is the focus on who is the main villain of the piece.

Taxi Driver
Forrest Gump
When Harry Met Sally
Gone With The Wind
Fight Club
