I think I've gone from a King Crimson-obsession into a Deep Purple-obsession, I forgot how amazing they actually are. Outside of Smoke On The Water (which is bloody dull), they really haven't gotten their dues yet, even though they've influenced so many bands:

SH 4 is great! That sense of isolation in the first pearson view in that room used to be the most scary thing ever. The only time I experienced the same sensation of fear and antecipation duing to the sense of isolation was in P.T. it's a shame that game wasn't finished. A real shame.
