Usually when I want to watch a movie I just search it up on Google and I can often find it on some site for free. Sometimes it comes easy, other times not. I try to find it on sites that do not require a "registration" because they ask for your credit card info. which I am very uncomfortable sharing. I am worried about such "free" sites. There are usually many pop up ads, as well. Most of the time I run into trouble with movies that appear to still be copyrighted. I've seen some movies on youtube, but in foreign languages, or no sound, weird. One such movie I struggled HARD to find was "Harry and Tonto" starring Art Carney. I found it on one site after looking at maybe 50(I'm not kidding). The site had pop up ads, some pornographic, and they all keep telling you to update your Java or Adobe Flash Player, or sometimes I get redirected to sites that have nothing to do with movies. It appears Harry and Tonto is still under copyright, but I was able to watch it free, but it took me tremendous effort. I am thinking of avoiding all this hardship and just subscribing to Netflix. They appear to air almost everything under the sun, even copyrighted movies. And the $7.99 a month is not too bad. Any better deal than this? I haven't found any, except to stumble on these "free" sites. I also have found a lot free on a site called ffilms.org. I want to find a site that is reliable, not dangerous to use, and of course free, with a vast library of movies. I've looked at some youtube videos that claim to show you "free" sites, but have been very disappointed by what they recommend. Most don't deliver, and those that do haven't had the movies I wanted(I am into mostly old flicks). Where do YOU go when you want to watch a movie? Do you look for free sites or pay for something like Netflix or Amazon?

Thank you very much for helping me out with this.
