Mouthgasms for MoFo foodies

OK gonna fly by the seat of my pants with a made up recipe for sunday brunch when Mr Dni finishes his beauty sleep, to use the last part of the leftover chicken. Glass noodles flash fried with chili, garlic and ginger, cubed chicken heated through, topped with green onions, coriander, kecap manis and maybe an egg. Squeeze of lime juice. Some fried eschallot or crushed peanuts for some crunch.

Feeling hungry...

Thanks Dani, I have tried all those dishes, even the desert of coffee (you can see that I'm a big fan of Korean food). My favorite is right there at number 1: samgyeoksal. Do you see what you're doing to me here? Tomorrow I must eat samgyeoksal, I can't get it out of my head now.

The bugs, I have tried it but not in Korea. I hate that dish

I made chicken pie tonight for tea. I have to make two cos if the grown up (and moved away from home) kids find out they're disappointed they missed out. So tomorrow they'll have some slices waiting here.
Funny, my youngest son never lets me forget Shrove Tuesday and the pancakes. Ever since they were little they loved Pancake Day, now I can never get away with trying to get out of making them!

This weekend I've been to a mouthgasm fair and taken some photos:

That second photo - persian or indian/pakistani sweets? And what's the first photo?

Yes Dani, the second and third photo are oriental sweets. They look wonderful, but often are too sweet for me.

The first photo is spicy chicken in a crispy fried bowl (the bowl is edible and make up half the goodness of the dish).

The fouth photo is Reunion sweets, or I thought so. I lost track of which country it was. I was stuffing my mouth at that time.

Too sweet for me as well, elessar, but look amazing.

Sorry, my dear Dani, no pancakes in the world can compare to Vietnamese pancakes (other name: sizzling crepe, because it's really sizzling), whether about esthetic aspect or tasting aspect
