We left off movies like Avatar, Revenge of the Sith, and Harry Potter. Shame on us.
I think you just want someone to make a video about you like that Downfall one
That Downfall video does still make me laugh, thanks for reposting @
honeykid.
Oldboy was my
#12. Just absolutely nuts, in a good way. Haven't seen the remake. I have seen Sympathy for Mr Vengeance but it just doesn't have the same energy.
O Brother Where Art Thou was just not for me.
Shaun of the Dead was my
#14. It's one of those films that just has an endless rewatchability factor. It's only gone up in my estimation on repeat viewings.
I did not vote for
The Departed but I did vote for
Infernal Affairs. From the comments here, I think I might have been the only one. The Departed does expand on the premise of Infernal Affairs and it does have Jack Nicholson chewing up the scenery. I thought it was a decent film but it's not a favourite.
I have very, very mixed feelings about
Inglourious Basterds. There bits that are pure brilliance, but bits I hate and find annoying and the whole thing doesn't quite hang together as a single film very well.
Children of Men I have only seen once, thought it was good but it seems to be much more popular on this forum than in the world in general. I did like it though and would quite like to rewatch it sometime. The book is good too.
