NOT ACTUALLY BANNED
I probably don't watch as many movies as you guys do, but I'm about to change that. I've decided to embark on the mission of watching every movie ever nominated for best picture. Having said that, I don't think I've seen enough movies to make a respectable list of 25, so I'm only going to do 10 for now.

1. Braveheart- The perfect movie. Great acting, great writing, great battle scenes, and the greatest score/soundtrack in movie history. A brilliant film
2. American History X- Tremendous! Ed Norton gives the greatest acting job I've ever seen in this very dark and deep portrayl of racism in America
3. Crash- Sort of like American History X meets Love Actually. Same message as AHX (Racism hurts everyone) and told in the same format as Love Actually (The six degrees of seperation concept) I really like this movie
4. Quiz Show- Very underrated. Solid acting, and a script that's not too hard to follow. It is very entertaining
5. The Godfather Pt 2- I like this one more than the first one, because the cold persona of Michael Corleone is shattered at times in this movie, revealing that he has a heart. The impenetrable Michael Corleone is vulnerable in this movie, but the only people that can hurt him are his family, and they hurt him in the worst way possible...emotionally.
6. LA Confidential- This movie is great. I love Russell Crowe and Guy Pearce in this film. My favorite actor ever is Kevin Spacey, but I was disappointed in his performance. His performance could be seen at your local high school play
7. The Shawshank Redemption- Not a big fan of Tim Robbins, but he's good in this. Morgan Freeman is excellent and this film is near greatness
8. Frequency- Another movie that may not be a popular pick, but I love it. The plot is great, and the serial killer sub-plot isn't half bad either. Jim Caveziel is good in this
9. The 40 Year Old Virgin- It's not your typical "Great movie" but this movie made me laugh so hard that I had to put it in the top 10. Steve Carrell is starting to take over as the best comedic actor in Hollywood
10. The Godfather- The storyline, acting, and action may be better in this one than in the second, but the emotion in the acting was missing in this one. Still a great flick

1 - a walk to remember
2 - dazed and confused
3 - the warriors
4 - carlitos way
5 - scream
6 - leon
7 - donnie brasco
8 - fast times at ridgmont high
9 - Gladiator
10 - highlander ( the first one to me the others dont exist)
man i cant think of anymore lol
