Iron Man 3 was a big disappointment! (Spoilers) For those who have not seen Iron Man three I am sorry for what I am about to reveal. The biggest issue with Iron Man is how Tony Stark rids himself of metal poisoning at the end of the movie when it was such a "thing" in Iron Man 2, and it makes fans wonder why Tony waited until Iron Man 3 to have surgery. Also, the way the character of Marvel's Mandarin was portrayed in Iron Man 3 was unforgivable. Finally, Iron Man 3 should have been released after Civil War given that the possible ideas of Iron Man 3 was about advancement in medical tech which was a "thing" in Avengers 2 and Civil War.

How is it that he both waited so long to get his life-saving surgery but at the same time should've waited until after at least two other movies had happened (which, assuming the MCU timeline remained the same, wouldn't have happened until at least three or four years later)?
