I never thought of Jamie Foxx as particularly funny, but I heard him talking about an upcoming project he's working on and it sounds very promising. I'm actually excited for this. It's called All-Star Weekend and has a killer cast, written and directed by Jamie Foxx, and he'll also be acting in it. Foxx said he loved Downey in Tropic Thunder doing black face and this time wants him to play a Mexican. According to the wikipedia article it was in post-production last January (2019).
