Touch of Evil
Once Upon a Time in the West
Saving Private Ryan
There Will Be Blood
Pulp Fiction

With "There Will Be Blood", are you referring to him when he was all alone working?

First scene of Resevoir Dogs is totally brilliant. Loved the movie from the first second.

Could this be the movie the OP is thinking of?

I was actually thinking of "Citizen Kane"

I love the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs too.

If you're alluding to Kane on his death bed whispering "Rosebud", I suspect most know what in real life W. R. Hearst was referring to.. I expect that's what got him so livid that he tried to keep the movie from being shown.

Without knowing the context of what the OP means by, 'the most important scene' it's difficult to simply guess as there are diferent criteria for what constitutes 'the most important', ie, to give context to everything that follows, or the moment where a character realizes a line is being crossed before going back to recount how they got there, are just a couple of examples.

A few that have already been mentioned. A couple that haven't:

Fight Club
Goodfellas
Star Wars (1977) (The crawl and the single shot of the 2 ships fighting)
Up

Without knowing the context of what the OP means by, 'the most important scene' ...
I had the exact same problem.
