This martial arts movie was surprisingly better by far for us than Red Belt. The film wasn't a masterpiece but it more realistically showed what Brazilian jujitsu is, along with a formulaic high school bully theme.
In both films the teachers yelled "Breathe" far too often for my liking. Though I understand the importance of breathing correctly while boxing or doing any exercise, I find this sort repetitious yelling irritating and not beneficial to training or anything else in life.
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I'd heard some really negative things about it. For my money, (which, to be honest, was noffin), it was a far better movie than I had expected.
