After 11 years, Donnie Yen is ending his run as the legendary Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man, who in this final film comes to the U.S. to catch up with his most famous student, Bruce Lee. There, he experiences racial tensions as he faces off against American martial arts experts who denounce Chinese kung fu. They include a karate master played by Chris Collins and what looks to be an epic finale as Ip takes on a hard-boiled military officer played by the one and only Scott Adkins.
The film is coming to China and Hong Kong on December 20. As for the United States, Well Go USA is planning to release the film in select theaters on Christmas Day.
