Benadryl has zero affect on me. I could take the whole bottle and it wouldn't make me drowsy.

Pfizer also sells Viagra, that may help you? If helps old Man

We've gone on holiday by mistake
I had a friend who went to the show of some celebrity hypnotist at the time, Pat something, i think. And they picked four or fiver people including him and he said the others did weird things but he just laughed so she left him alone. that's what he told me. I wasn't there. I think it is generally thought some people are more susceptible to hypnotism than others, but even under hypnosis you can't do something against your will like murder.
Wrong. You should watch Derren Brown's "The Assasin" where he uses hypnosis to get a volunteer to attempt to assasinate someone.

The CIA was big on this in the 60's/70's, it was called the MK Ultra program.

See the RFK assasination. The killer Sirhan Sirhan claims to have large memory gaps prior to shooting RFK, says he didn't feel in control of himself etc. All very suspicious if you ask me.

First of all, I'm a trained hypnotist that's working on Honeykid at the moment:

SEXY

Second, I have never been hypnotized either by a professional therapist or an entertainer. I do know someone who was hynotized by an entertainer, though. He said the guy made him do stupid things. He was with a group of people all being hypnotized -- not all of them were able to be hypnotized. The majority weren't, but the guy I know was. Damn him for being so mentally soft.

Third, I would like to be hypnotized. I would like to be professionally hypnotized, lying on a couch in a therapist's office, kinda like what Nausicaa is talking about. I used to have a book about how to hypnotize yourself and others. It's basically just relaxing your entire body very deeply -- get as comfortable as you can -- and then you have to have somebody make statements to you over and over again. You could tape record these statements and play them back if you need to.

I'm doubtful of hypnosis, but I do suspect that there is something to it. It is probably most powerful if you're under the influence of a hypnotic drug. I think the brain has to be chemically right for it to be hypnotized and I don't think it's easy just to do it the simple way through a watch clock and meditation techniques. But some people might be easier because their minds are closest to the right state it needs to be in for this. They say there is a state of mind that the brain needs to achieve.

As for the "we're are all hypnotized" statement that Deadite made... I think that's true. Watch TV when you're stoned or something -- commercials and things all look very hypnotizing. Determinedly so. Being stoned can sort of "break the trance" or even put you in one. At least that's how I feel. Anyway, there's nothing really bad about this, either -- it is what it is. Hypnotize people and they'll work with you -- buy your things, love you, etc.

There are some free hypnosis audio downloads you can get at http://freehypnosistreatment.com/

I admit I've downloaded some of them and used them. They don't make me feel like a different person or anything, but I did enjoy using them. I just don't know if they all truly worked. Give it a try.

There is zero evidence you can kill under hypnosis.

MK involved hypnosis, drugs, etc. Thare is no evidence they found a way to order people to kill, and even if they did. it couldn't have been by hypnosis alone.

Sirhan says he doesn't remember, he blacked out. Gee, I never heard a killer use that defense before.

Will hasn't shouted since my last post. Hypnosis must really work.

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.
Not to my knowledge, but after I play cards with mother I feel very odd and always wake up somewhere strange with a pistol in my pocket.

Back on topic, I was at this big formal brunch for some award thingy just over a year ago and had the chance to go on stage for one of those silly hypnosis shows, nearly put my hand up but didn't....the 5 or so that went up all acted like you usually see at these things (no control etc.) makes me wonder if it is set up? Not sure, I to am curious about this subject.

It's like that Stir of Echoes scene, oooooo freaky.

WARNING: "Stir of Echoes Hypnosis Scene" spoilers below

It is not set up.

Hypnosis unlike psychics reading the minds of people in an audience is real.

It doesn't work on everybody and you still can't do anything under it. If you get a command you really don't want to do, you won't do it.
