Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
Nooo! It was supposed to be our sweet secret!
Has anyone else been to Japan?
Yes. I once was in a hot bath with a bunch of geishas. Then I woke up.
still me and @Mr Minio (probably) goal to visit in the future xD
Heeey, that's smooth. Seriously, though, I'd rather Japan come to me. Then again "If the mountain will not come to Mahomet, Mahomet must go to the mountain.".

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

burn it before it spread

by my abovementioned girlfriend when they approached us in a pretty schmick bar in Kyoto one nigh. There was a lot of stuff she wouldnt talk about and that's a Red flag for me. No way no how, and as much as the escorts I met said it;s not prostitution - hello. Yes ofcourse it is if yo'ure going to take fur coats and giant precious stones from a lonely rich old sugar daddy, or fly in a private jet to some swank resort for the weekend just for your company.
i see, So you mean it was typical japanese bosu level of players. It's like safe to assume kyoto sound suit for that elite class prostitute

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
sonna kankei nai sonna kankeinnai hai oppapi!

Gotta love Google Translate.

@Dani8, we need you to get back to serious conversations on Japanese culture and what not! Me and resopamenic are only able to cream over Asian girls/boys and exchange memes and confusing innuendos. We need you!

You can't win an argument just by being right!
yeah, in sumatra. this country has lot of potential for tourist destination beside bali -which i really bet the most forigners will know us for xD-

still me and @Mr Minio (probably) goal to visit in the future xD
what happen on pachinko parlors dan?
Well this thread didnt take long. I have no idea what's going on but not interested in getting involved in all that other stuff but wanted to come back to talk about this.

First off - pachinko parlors - the brutal noise and the cigarette smoke.I dont know how the hell anyone survives for hours in those things. Ghastly bloody environment. I wanted to check one out because I remember pachinko from when I visited there as a kid. My younger brother and I were obsessed so I walked in to have a look. Walked straight back out again.

What touristy stuff can you talk about with Sumatra? It's not a country, buddy. It's an island/Province of Indonesia first off .

I left singapore with my flatmate from sydney and went through Riau archipelago on a rickety old barge, you know the type that regularly capsize or burn and sink. This is way back in the late 1990s so my memory is a bit faded now but had a pretty interesting last night in snake river when pirates tried to pole vault onto the barge which we were told was a regular thing and that they were really dangerous. Gee thanks for telling me! They must have learnt that sport from the Dutch. Then from the port in Padang went straight up to Bukkittingi in the mountains to get some cooler weather.

From there I went to Siberut in the mentawai islands which was pretty primitive back then, and one of my brothers a few years ago went there with a group of old university friends to go surfing. From what he said things have really changed. I think of all the islands I have seen in indonesia Sumatra back then is probably my favourite experience in Indonesia along with Sulawesi.

Have you been to Sulawesi for a holiday?

My eldest brother went to Bali a few weeks ago with his bestie to stay in a friend's house in Candidasa I think ti was. It was his first time in Bali and he really enjoyed it when he stayed away from the backpacker ghettos full of young, drunk and very obnoxious australian bogans, and general touristy areas full of older, cashed up Australian bogans.

I'd like to go back to do a cooking course there. Indonesian food is so good, fresh and spicy. I stayed in a really beautiful resort years ago in candidasa that had cooking courses. I was there for work so didnt have spare time for one but this looks fun

I won't dance. Don't ask me...
Of course the "youngest looking mom and daughters" are East Asian!

(Can you tell who's older? Which one is 63, 41 or 36?)
No f***ing way. My komputer has boroken or what?

It had impression as an escapist place for lowkey class workers and drifters wasting time and money. Definitely not the place you'll expect to
