Baseball movie, what's it called?

Flushed with the success of finding the name of Naked Jungle - thanks MovieForums! - I'm back with a question from #1 daughter.

She remembers a film in which a baseball player (possibly) is visited by his future self with a warning about the consequences that follow from playing the game. He has to decide whether to play or not.

Any ideas? I said "Seventeen Again" but she says no because that is basketball. Hey, what do I know!?

Sounds a bit like Mr. Destiny.

Bootstrap Paradox is the concept at play here, and there are several works that deal with it. I haven't run across a baseball flick involving bootstrapping, though. Hopefully someone else has seen it, as it sounds interesting.
