That song was originally from Earl Scruggs with his mate Lester Flatts. They were famous together for their bluegrass records, as Flatt and Scruggs and as The Foggy Mountain Boys . They played the Beverley Hillbillies theme tune too. They were class together, and it's lovely to see Earl Scruggs still plays

Funny that. Country music was really popular in Liverpool when I was a kid, dunno if it still is.
