2015. What are your most anticipated movies?

Nice to see two other people are looking forwards to Carol, it's one I've been looking forwards since I heard they were thinking of adapting the book, really enjoyed the book and thought it was wonderful when I heard they had cast Cate Blanchett in the lead.

The films that I'm looking forwards to the most this year(some might come out next year, not quite sure):

Carol - as above.

The Duke of Burgundy - out of the two main 'BDSM' type relationship films coming out this year(I wonder what the other one is...) this British film is the one I'm most interested in. For fans of Borgen, it's got Sidse Babett Knudsen in one of the lead roles.

Mad Max: Fury Road - Massive fan of Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron and also this film is suppose to be never ending action! Can't wait. Child 44 is another Tom Hardy film I'm looking forwards to, and also seeing Charlize Theron in Dark Places(another film based on a book from the author of Gone Girl).

Miss Julie - Directed by Liv Ullman, and starring Jessica Chastain, what a mix!

Lost River - Still waiting to see when Ryan Gosling's debut as a director is going to come out(last time I looked it was going to be released in April), it didn't do too well apparently with critics but will see. Definitely looks like he's been influenced by his time with director Nicolas Winding Refn. Been waiting to see this since it was first titled How To Catch A Monster.

Chappie - the new film from District 9 director Neill Blomkamp.

Anything Quentin Tarantino does always gets me into the cinema, so The Hateful Eight is a must.

The Lobster - Another weird sounding film from the director of the very very weird Dogtooth. The plot alone got me interested: Set in a dystopian near future where lonely people are obliged to find a matching mate within a 45-day period in a hotel. If they fail, they are transformed into animals and sent off into the woods. Just hope it's better than his last film Alps.

Crimson Peak - Jessica Chastain again, and Guillermo del Toro - another fabulous mix.

Jurassic World - Anything to take away the memory of the third one, hope it does that.

Bloodsucking Bastards - Horror comedy with vampires.

Terminator: Genisys - big fan of Lee Byung-hun and really been interested in the new Terminator film since I saw he was in it.
The Revenant
James Bond: Spectre
Avengers: Age of Ultron - as long as there isn't too much Hulk...
High Rise

The Harvest - Horror film with Samantha Morton and Michael Shannon - was made in 2013 I think but yet to see it released anywhere. From the director of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

Young Skywalker. Missed you, I have...

I recently started reading this book series. I am anxious to see what they do with them to make them pop. Great book series.

I really enjoyed the first one so I will most definitely be watching this one. I haven't read the books, don't really know if I want to...I am afraid they will ruin the movie for me.

I have seen all the rest and this one will be no exception.

I am a sucker for super hero movies.

Dinosaurs....yep

TERMINATOR!!!!

YAY!

Super heros....sucker

I love The Hunger Games!!

Jurassic World......nuff said

here are some others (I'm a big comedy fan so a lot of these are comedies and most are sequels, but as more movies are announced for this year this list will grow)

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Only gonna watch to see if Disney will ruin the franchise worse than Lucas did with the Prequels. Although they may surprise me as Abrams did the Star Trek franchise good with the first 2 films so he may be able to reignite Star Wars as well.

Terminator: Genisys - Literally only watching this for Emilia Clarke, could care less about Arnold, Jai or Jason Clarke who is in EVERYTHING these days

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 - The first one was funny, only thing i don't like is that they recasted John Cusack with Adam Scott, they should of just left John's character out and made Adam Scott his own separate character.

Get Hard - Kevin Hart AND Will Ferrell? Sign me up

Ted 2 - The first one wasn't that great, but it had funny moments so i'll give this one a chance

London Has Fallen - Liked Olympus Has Fallen, Even though it and White House Down were pretty much the same film i liked Gerard Butler better than Channing Tatum

The Hateful Eight - Tarantino......need i say more?

once i finally get around to watching other trailers I might check out some others as well, but there is only one movie i'm truly excited for.

There are so many coming out, but I will try to name the ones I really anticipate and hopefully not forget too many...

- Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens
...not the biggest Star Wars fan but I do think it looks great and I trust in J.J. Abrams
- Mad Max: Fury Road
...the same director/writer is back and this just looks freaking amazing! Lots of practical effects and great atmosphere
- The Avengers: Age of Ultron
...well, I wasn't really a fan of the first one but this looks better darker and more controlled
- 007: Spectre
...it's James Bond what else do I have to say? Seriously though, I wasn't a big fan of Skyfall but I anticipate this still
- Furious 7
...I love the franchise and it is one of my guilty pleasures and this one looks just as ridiculously awesome
- Inside Out
...Pixar seems to be back at their highest with this one. It looks funny, original and charming, I can't wait
- Jurassic World
...I really anticipate this but I really don't have the highest hopes for it. It looks rather mediocre and not what I expected
- The Hateful Eight
...I f*cking love Tarantino, his movies are a blast! Why shouldn't this be? I loved Django Unchained and this should rock as well!
- The Revenant
...great director and great actor. What could go wrong?
- Tomorrowland
... I kind of just trust in Brad Bird and the whole concept. If not for that I wouldn't anticipate it
- Mission: Impossible 5
... the franchise just seem to get better and better. I'm sure this will rock!
- Knight of Cups
... let's see what Malick has in store for us. Probably just more Malick-ism and I'm fine with that
- everything Jake Gyllenhaal
... he has more than one movie coming this year and I'm watching them all!

...and many more! but I think this is mostly it.

Mad Max (I have watched the trailer roughly 1000 times)
Hateful Eight. (Kurt Russel, Sammy J, Tarentino, doy.)
John Wick 2 (in talks right now.)
Turbokid (because, insanity.)
The Revenant (same cinematographer as Birdman. Leo D as a bear hunter? Yes.)

Those were the first to pop in my head but there are many, many more.

_____ is the most important thing in my life…

- Furious 7
...I love the franchise and it is one of my guilty pleasures and this one looks just as ridiculously awesome
Sitting in the theater after the last, I decided that I was done going to see these. All it took was more car porn, edm, and some women to make me choke down this plate of crow.

John Wick 2 (in talks right now.)
Best action movie I saw last year. The club scene was one of my favorite in recent memory. Oh yeah...and more car porn. Listening to that Mustang was the only redeeming factor for wasting the money on IMAX.

Turbokid (because, insanity.)

Cinderella
Irrational Man (Woody Allen project got a title - this is it). --> this one is by far my #1 anticipated this year. Emma Stone & Philosophy.. and Woody.
Aloha (2015) - With Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams.
Pitch Perfect 2

And then some movies I probably don't know about yet.

Ok I have a new one to add to my list. I don't know where it fits in but it's up there.

Me Earl and the Dying Girl

It won just about everything at Sundance and the reviews were just absolutely universally glowing. Can't wait for a release date on this one. Wonder if it will be in the fall for an awards run.

Sidenote: I'm dying to go to Sundance one year. It's on my bucket list.

_____ is the most important thing in my life…
Nick Offerman wearing a kimono enjoying a chicken foot, sounds about right.

Irrational Man

Woody Allen's very hit or miss for me (of the few films I've seen anyway), but it's Joaquin so of course I must watch it.
Judging by the synopsis Woody is going way out of his comfort zone on this one. I mostly like him but damn he hits the same note over and over.

Mission Impossible 5

The D-Train

I've been having sort of a tense relationship with Star Wars for decades now. I liked it as a kid, (especially A New Hope and even more the Empire strikes Back), but I realised it's too intense for my taste. Still, I can't resist to say that I can't wait to see it. Love-hate relationship, i guess. The problem is in me for all that, of course. I loved all the terminators, and my fave is even no. 3, bc the humor is great, especially when he goes shopping and talk to the hand and all that, but I've seen only little of Genesys, is it any good? I might see Fantastic Four...but they trashed it on imdb.

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right

I heard you cheated on Star Wars with Star Trek!
