Ok. My first thought would have been for the postman from Jacques Tati's Jour de fête.
I also expected someone to dare posting Costner's Postman. I mean, come on, it has some irritatingly cheesy aspects, but that film is unfairly panned.
I was wondering if some Pony Express epic would turn out (like the Charlton Heston one where Buffalo Bill is supposed to have single-handedly invented the mailing system or whatever, but there's several others).
Or whatever secondary character I'd have discovered here.
Anyway, open floor.
