Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Just realised that in that last update forgot to mention the Godfather trilogy which I picked up after surprisingly enjoying the first film.

Wow you have quite a collection.

Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Latest update. Quite a mixture when it comes to the films. We've got some old sporting favourites, a few horror flicks as I continue to try and expand my exposure to the genre, a couple of favourites from my childhood, the usual bunch of blind buys etc. And as part of the Jean Claude Van Damme season I'm having at my reviews thread I've picked up quite a few of his; some of the old favourites, some I've never seen. Also branched out and picked up a few other action flicks at the same time, many of them very cheesy

Well thank you, good sir.

A few are actually on your recommendation so not surprised you approve.

Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Just noticed you didn't list Raising Cain (which I just recently watched and reviewed) amongst those you liked. I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that was one you quite liked, or am I getting confused on that one?

No, I liked it, I might have ever recommended it to you at some point, but there were a few on the list that I either liked, but haven't seen in a really long time (Raising Cain or The Howling, for instance) or something like Flash Gordon and War of The Roses, which have never been able to draw me in, but it have there moments and other really love.

I did have In Hell listed, until I realised that I meant From Hell. However, if you've not watched From Hell, I recommend that.

Good whiskey make jackrabbit slap de bear.
Showdown In Little Tokyo, Roadhouse and Maximum Risk are great, plus the Seagal legacy boxset. +1.

Well if you like it get to my movie musings and acknowledge my review!!! No I don't think you recommended it to me directly at any point. It's one that I was just aware of for a while due to its Lithgow involvement.

From Hell is actually kicking around Sky1 at the moment and had been planning on taping it, so with your recommendation I will definitely try to do so.

That's the original Shaft, yes? Not the 2000 remake?

LOL... My g/f bought Big Man Japan. She saw the 'warning' and decided she had to have it. We've not watched it yet, though.

I see some familiar titles there. Hope you like them.

Thanks Nausicaä

Oh yeah forgot to mention, it is the original Shaft and original Straw Dogs as well.

Wow you've got love in your life and you're still as miserable as you are at times!!!

I hope so too. Some of them may pop up in my reviews thread at some point

Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Just a fairly small update of recent purchases. I've actually tried to ease off a bit and watch some of the films I've already got instead of just getting more and more. Just a small mix of films, and some Chuck Norris flicks. Not seen any of his films really but got put in the mood by Expendables 2.

And I've also updated the lists on the first page for the first time in a long, long while.

American Reunion
Argo
Dark City (Director's Cut)
Django, Prepare a Coffin
Irma la Douce
Madagascar 3
Manic

Les Diaboliques

Missing in Action / Missing in Action 2 / Delta Force

Dead Zone season 3

John Bishop – Sunshine Tour

Best Seller - James Woods and Brian Dennehy?!? It's worth seeing for that alone. Good thriller, too.
Dream Team - I quite like this. I don't know how funny I'd find it now, but it has Peter Boyle and I remember him being really good in it.
Electric Dreams - 80's goodness and a brilliant theme song. That's gonna be stuck in my head now for the rest of the night.
Kingdom of the Spiders - Have you seen this before? I love this film. It's a great cross between the 70's 'animals gone mad' and disaster movie. Not only that, but you get Shatner as a cowboy.
Mask - I'm going to assume this the Cher movie. I like that film
Maximum Overdrive - Really bad fun.
Mechanic, The - Hoping this isn't The Stath
Murder in the First - Two excellent performances from Bacon and Slater and a great supporting cast, too. I've not seen this since the late 90's, but I'm sure it'll hold up.
Pitch Perfect - I've not seen this, but I've heard suprisingly good things about it. There again, I hear good things about Glee, too.
Star Chamber - Have you seen this before? If not, this will feel very familiar as it feels like a 70's thriller but, sadly, it's just a little too 80's to be that good.
Wild Things - I love this film. I don't think it made my 100, but on another day it could've. I've not seen this for ages, either.
Man Bites Dog - It's in my top 10. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.
