My top 50 films. I know this list is pretty mainstream, really have just began to branch out into the independent and foreign world the last year or two. These are all films I have viewed at least 3 times, and hold up for me on both an artistic and emotional level.

50) The Little Mermaid

49) Rear Window

48) Breakfast At Tiffanys

47) Anchorman

46) Bull Durham

45) The Karate Kid

44) Diner

43)The Grass Is Greener

42) The Lion King

41) Dumb And Dumber

40) Casino Royale

I've always had a soft spot for Anchorman, and Rear Window of course is brilliant.

39) The Matrix

38) Munich

37) The Silence Of The Lambs

36) Million Dollar Baby

35) The Color Of Money

34) Goldeneye

33) Aladdin

32) Back To The Future

31) The Wizard Of Oz

30) Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
(I know some will consider this cheating, but if the director shot all the films as one story and it was meant to be experienced as such I disagree.)

29) Dance With Wolves

28) Raiders Of The Lost Ark

27) The Social Network

26) Lonesome Dove

25) Toy Story

24) Dog Day Afternoon

23) Forrest Gump

22) No Country For Old Men

21) A Christmas Story

20) The Jerk

19) The Dark Knight

18) It's A Wonderful Life

17) A Few Good Men

16) Star Wars Trilogy

15) Jerry Maguire

14)One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

13) Inglorious Bastards

12) Magnolia

11) Remember The Titans

From the last 2 sets I love Raiders of the Lost Ark, It's a Wonderful Life, A Few Good Men, Cuckoo's Nest, Forrest Gump, and Dog Day Afternoon. I really like Jerry Maguire, The Jerk, A Christmas Story, The Social Network, and Star Wars. I wasn't crazy about Magnolia but want to try it again. I haven't seen the rest.

Rear Window, Million Dollar Baby, and Silence of The Lambs are the ones that stood out for me. There are plenty of othe good films but those three are the masterpieces of the list.

Thanks for the input everyone, had fun putting it together. Wish I would have found this website a long time ago. Cool to have a place to go everyday where thoughtful conversation about movies happens.

Chappie doesn't like the real world
Just catching up on your list. There is at least one movie from every set that I absolutely love. Great to see Lonesome Dove on your list. I rented that from the library on a whim and ended up having a fantastic Sunday watching the whole mini-series.

Some other highlights for me, The Little Mermaid, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Lion King, Magnolia..Lots of good stuff here.
