Apocalypse now

Any thoughts on which version of Apocalypse Now is better? I've heard good arguments for both.

I think the original version is the best. You understand a lot of things better in the redux-verison but I think it also took away the air of mystery that I love so much about the film. Redux is also way too long. The scene with the frenchmen is very beautiful but the love scene was so unnecessary.

Redux is great but not perfect. I think the original has it all!

That is such a mature comment! I agree! The hetrosexual love scene is downright homosexual!

And while we're complaining, I would just like to mention that I thought the bit with the Playboy bunnies was bisexual! That scene was sexually attracted to girls and boys!
