Let Me In - A shot by shot remake? (SPOILERS!)

From what I've heard Let Me In is a shot by shot remake of Let the Right One In but here is my question....

Let Me In is not rated R for nudity. I know the scene at the end of the original was a dummy but The film was still rated R for nudity as well as violence.

Even if the film is not shot by shot, I wonder how they can do that scene without the "nudity". That scene is very important to the story!
