quote from 'keeping the faith'

Tools

hi everybody
i'm looking for a quote from 'keeping the faith' with ed norton, ben stiller and of course jenna elfman. the bartender said it about after half of the film, it was a quite long quote, about women and love, one belonging to each other (i think).
or if anybody happened to have a screenplay/transcript of this brillant movie, i'd be really greatful.

Sorry, I could't find it...

I found a quote or two here:
http://us.imdb.com/Quotes?0171433

Unfortunatly it was not listed there...try the below site though for some links...I checked out a few of the links myself but didn't see anything there either...

http://www.filmbug.com/f/?query=keep...ype=m&x=5&y=11

thanx for your answer. i'm checking those links at filmbug this very moment.
do you have another page (except imdb.com) that you check, when you need a quote from a movie?

Well, the links at FilmBug too.

Oter than that...not really. Although I'm sure there must be others. If I find any I'll let you know.

Thanks for choosing MovieForums

Female assassin extraordinaire.
there are a lot of sites out there with scripts, so I'm sure you'll find it, esp b/c it's pretty recent. then you'll just have to do some heavy reading .

i've done some searching on this script (i'm not as new to the scene as you might think, when you see the # of my posts...), but i couldn't find it.
i've looked at dailyscript.com and some other sites, but i didn't find it. do you have some other sites, that you check regularly to find scripts?
btw: when we're already at it: i can't find a script of sabrina (1995) (i thought i once found one, but i don't find it anymore ), and of "i'm not rappaport" (which is a rare one i know).

thanx in advance

I remember my last trip to New York City - they were selling movie scripts on the street. I highly considered picking one up, but wasn't as big a flick fan as I am now...

I'll probably be heading back to NY this December. I'll make ya a deal: if I find that script, I'll buy it and send it to you.

thanx, but you don't have to, because i can by it thru the internet. i just hoped, that there is a free version online somewhere.

best sortiment i've seen so fas has http://www.scriptshop.com . but sometimes you can find script you don't see at scriptshop at http://www.scriptshack.com .
i've had good experience with the scriptshop, but haven't ordered from scriptshop yet, but i will, since they have some movies i definitively want, but scriptshop hasn't.

Is this the quote you are looking for?

"I'll tell you what I know. May those who love us, love us. And those who don't love us, may God turn their hearts. And if he cannot turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles, so that we may know them by their limping"

I love Keeping The Faith. I saw it six times at the movie theatre!

I love you, NikkiJane!!!!
that was exactly what i was looking for.
i too love that film, but since i work in the evenings, i couldn't watch it more than once.
thank you so much. i owe you something.

i agree, this quote is handicapped by its length. but there are o9ther great quotes, that are too long too, but still cool. e.g. this one:

"If you think back and replay your year, if it doesn't bring you tears, either of joy or sadness, consider the year wasted."

john cage in "ally mcbeal, 23/I, There are the days"

you can find my quote collection here or at http://www.studio-ur.org . click on the link "studio ur" and aftrewards on "quotes" on the left side.
please be aware, that it's a bit slow, since it has almost 400 quotes in it.

tell me what you think. or have you found a mistake?

Didn't see it.
I forget, but I think this is an old Scottish or Irish saying. It's still a great line, but the screenwriters didn't come up with it.

i know, it's terribly slow, but in a week or so, i'm ready to offer it in a different format (actually still html, but as zip archive, but downloadable and runnable offline).
i make sure to tell you that thru this thread.

Hey, are there rules against necro-bumping in this forum? (lol)
