The Disappearance Of Alice Creed

It's just come out in the UK but I don't think it has reached USA yet. Anyways, it's supposed to be a really good low budget thriller. A cast of three actors which includes the curvy Gemma Arterton, Eddie Marsan and Martin Compson.



It's the tale of a kidnapping gone wrong, basically. Arterton is the title character kidnapped by two men. It's supposed to be taut and intense and I am going to watch it tomorrow evening. Anybody else heard about or seen this film yet?

I'm catching this sometime this week. Sounds like a somewhat interesting flick.

Yeah, watched it yesterday. It's a pretty strong thriller, and Gemma Arterton's a revelation in it. Always liked her from a physical stand point but with this film she really proved that she has what it takes to hold a film together as a main protagonist. It's a film with lots of twists, perhaps one too many, so I don't want to say too much, but I must let it be known that we see Arterton basically piss and almost **** her way through misery. Glamorous she is not in this film.
