I had to register to say THANK YOU, klanely.

I loved your method to organize movies. I also created a Movie Collector Plus account and added my movies. Really nice find.

Thanks again.

I agree with you 110%. I am in the process of rebuilding my account with DVD Aficionado. I tried other sites to catagorize my discs but no other site works as good.

I just know they're coming to kill me.

You can only really see it from my arm up, but there's more there, plus I've added some since then, dedicating yet another shelf to hold my DVD's.

They're stacked in back-to-front, so there's more that are hidden behind those that are in the picture, and there's also some more up top which the camera couldn't take.

For the record, the black and purple DVD box sets that are in the middle of the picture is every episode of the original Twilight Zone. It's worth a lot, both in value and to me.

My personal DVD collection (my family owns a good amount) consists of just 6 movies... I just got into movies about a year ago and just started buying about 2 months ago. Also, I'm only 16 and don't have any steady income so I buy them with whatever cash I can get haha. But what my collection lacks in quantity it makes up with quality (mostly).

Taxi Driver (2-disc Special Edition)
Seven Samurai (3-disc Criterion Collection)
Platoon (20th Anniversery Special Edition)
Blade Runner: The Final Cut (Special Edition)
Raging Bull (I bought the single disc version in ignorance that there was a special edition, oh well )
Master and Commander (5 bucks in a bargain bin )

I'm sorry if a thread similar to this exists, but I did a brief search and didn't come up with anything. Feel free to merge (or the like) this thread if that's the case.

Post pictures of your DVD/Blu-ray/movie collection. I'll start things off with a few of mine.

(Better shot of the farthest rack in the previous picture.)

Nice collection....BUT I do know that a lot of them are crap, hahaha.

I like the last one that is tucked away in the corner of the closet. Is that your porn dvd collection?

LOL! No. Those are (most of) my Blu-rays (they're hard to see, but there's 25 of them). And that's Tanya Roberts in the picture.

My new DVD shelf, and here are some close up pics of the shelves:

I took that a couple of weeks ago, now the second shelf from the top is almost completely filled with DVDs, I'm gonna have to go to the top shelf very soon.

His parents buy Movieman (most of) his movies, mark, and that's what I put virtually most of my "extra" spending money toward: DVDs and Blu-rays. I buy the occasional book or new clothes, but as I've said before, just about every post you see by me in the Movie Tab thread is of a movie (or movies) that I own. I don't rent and/or download, etc.
