Toga, toga, toga......

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour?

The People's Republic of Clogher
Golden Brown - The Stranglers

This was my favourite song when I was 9 though the lyrics about heroin addiction went over my head somewhat. I thought it was golden brown sand....

Golden brown sand? Glad I've stayed away from the beaches in Ireland!
Still a great track all these years on, I think I'll go put it on now!

Hey! This was 1982 we're talking about here. The only drugs I knew of were Junior Disprin.

Around that time we mainly holidayed in Ayr & Girvan by the way...

EDIT - I'm probably wrong but seem to remember the video being desert-related, which could well be where the 'sand' mix up came from...

Put me in your pocket...
Lifehouse ~ Come Back, You And Me, Blind and All In All

I'm really loving their current (new?) CD.

Blind Melon -No rain .on cue , Paint it black -Rolling Stones

Don't cha - The Pussycat Dolls, I know I should be ashamed, but I quite fancy the lead singer, Don't cha?- You betcha!!!

I got for good luck my black tooth.
Just invested in some legal downloading fun from Napster:

"Misery is a Butterfly" - Blonde Redhead
"Son of a Gun" - The Vaselines
"Stay Gold" - The Apples in Stereo
"Bad Depression Blues" - Josh White
"Black and Evil Blues" - Josh White
"The Golden Age" (Live Non-Album Track) - The Flaming Lips

Edit: "Oh! You Pretty Things" - David Bowie
"Right Off" - Miles Davis: just a long flowing red red hot jam session between some jazz legends. When Miles does fusion he really takes your mind for a ride.

Very early Quo, totally different to the 80's crowd pleasing stuff!

Ah yes! Jumping on the Hippy bandwagon before becoming behemoths of the 2 chord boogie and contributing to the gross national product of Columbia for the next 20 years.

It's quite charming, I'll give you that, and reminds me of early Spinal Tap footage...

I wonder if 'ver Quo ever had to dust for vomit?
