79. Night on Earth 1991
dir Jim Jarmusch

98. Down by Law
Dir. Jim Jarmusch
Featured Cast: Tom Waites, John Lurie, and Roberto Benigni
Like: It takes its time to tell its slice of life story. Shooting it in B & W is fitting for this story.
Yet another one I discovered recently. This one was amazing. Really loved it.

94. Moulin Rouge 2001
dir. Baz Luhrmann
Featured Cast: Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor, and John Leguizamo
Likes: This movie was something new in a time when Hollywood was beginning to rely on "safe material". (Remaking old films and sticking to formula and cliches).
Probably my favorite musical.

93. Fried Green Tomatoes 1991
dir. Jon Avnet
Featured Cast: Jessica Tandy, Kathy Bates, Mary Stuart Masterson

Likes: Reveals the power of narrative as an agent of change, whether it be in a book, movie, or other medium.
Haven't seen it in a loooooong time, but I remember loving the hell out of this.

I forgot the opening line.
A nice mix of movies with many I haven't seen but wish to. I love American Hustle and 12 Monkeys, and Walk Hard remains funny to me even after seeing it a few times. Great comedy. Young Frankenstein and City Lights are classics, and very highly rated. I've completely come around to see Mullholland Drive as truly great. I've stuck out all the films I've seen - and I'm interested in nearly all of the films on your list I haven't.
