Rewatch.

Don’t think I’ve really seen Rylance much elsewhere; but now he always reminds me of the creep in Bones and All.
Dear mother says the tailoring aspect isn’t entirely accurate, as apparently such thread loops cannot be made manually, only by a sewing machine. Alas, I wouldn’t know.

A masterpiece, naturally, but due to personal experiences, my response to this film very much jars with the consensus. Creepy as ****. Still a great film, but I’m always left feeling violated.
