I'm happier with my list than I expected to be, but I'm still not happy with it. I opted not to vote for shorts, because my ballot probably would have been dominated by them and I don't think anybody else would have voted for them.

Nothing from the 1950s or from the 2000s, though there is a 2000's movie I've put on a few lists which I should have included here. I hope I'm not the reason it doesn't make the countdown.

I will admit that I had the least amount of fun assembling this list as opposed to the lists I created for the other countdowns since comedies aren't a genre of film I particularly care for, but I still managed to finish it and I'm curious to see the results.

But you probably haven't seen a bunch of old movies have you? Myself I haven't seen many 2010 comedies and none made my list.

In what way are you surprised by the other participants stats? Myself I'm surprised to see so many have older movies on their ballots and I approve too

There were exactly zero 2010s and 2020s for me here. A nice blend of 2000s, 90s, 80s, couple 70s and then something from 50s, 30s and even 20s

Eh, since everyone else is posting their distributions.
I wish I hadn't forgotten about one (unnamed) 1960's film. It would have made the balance look a little better.

I just now submitted a ballot of 25 comedy films.

It'll be interesting to see it all play out. My guess is that whichever generation has more ballots will determine from which years most comedies are nominated.

There's a wide variety in senses of humor between the generations. For example I could only find one comedy from the 21st Century that I thought was funny. Although I'm sure I missed one or two...

I'd be interested in hearing your decades breakdown. From what others have posted it looks like films from the 2010s will be heavily represented. I'm hoping for some good ole comedy classics

My list is skewing a lot more modern than I anticipated. Still only 4 of the movies on my list came out after I was born.

I agree, and I think that's very doable. I haven't submitted one yet, my wife's going to as well, and there's always a few others who wait until the last minute.
