Movie or movies with people amazed at technology, early XX century.

Hi!

I am looking for movies set in the beginning of the XX century or the end of the XIX, where there is a scene where people are amazed at the, then, new technologies, (telephone, radio, TV, planes, cars, etc.). Maybe a bunch of people gathering expectantly around a TV or a radio, or marveling about a telephone call... The date of the movie/s does not matter, but it would be great if it was from the 30's or 40's.

Thank you!

Spirit of St. Louis has the crowd standing outside the hangar before the flight.

Sgt. York has people crowded around the only telephone in the area while his mom and girlfriend talked to him.

The Right Stuff or Apollo 13 with the crowds watching the lift-offs.

Blast from the Past has a guy emerging from a sealed-off fall-out shelter and seeing things he'd only read about.

Thanks OhForums! That Sgt. York reference is exactly what I need!

Did you know that in the 1980s movie PREDATOR the titular character was not originally portrayed by Kevin Peter Hall. It was in fact Jean-Claude Van Damme donning a much more insect inspired full body suit before he left the production which then led to the recasting and redesigning of the famous hunter.
