Forget it, Iro. It's raul...
I thought it was all tongue-in-cheek when I saw him mention WinterTriangles, who hasn't been around for years...
But the ghost of Wintertriangles remains...

After my last post, Raul left me a comment to tell me that this is all just a bit he's doing. This is certainly possible.
It's funny that he messages others saying it's "a bit he's doing", but he doesn't message me who's the one he keeps pestering with his insufferable whining.

Hint breakdown...

Hint, hint...

WARNING: spoilers below

Don't worry, be happy (Amélie strives to be happy and make others happy)
Regardless of race (vague reference to elves, dwarves, men, etc.)
Find that other person (Amélie is looking for someone)
Tell it to their face

Help people, hug trees (...to help, but also a reference to the Ents)
Join the battle and fight (and Aragorn and Co. joining the fight with Rohan)
Return things and smile (Amélie wants to return something)
Charge, be a guiding light (Gandalf comes to help charging, with his staff as a guiding light)

The Two Towers was number 4 on my ballot and my favourite of the Lord of the Rings films. All 3 are 10/10 to me. Amelie is an entertaining, charming film, an 8/10 from me.

My #9 pick
Amazing movie when I first saw it in cinemas. The Helm's Deep fight was truly something to behold on the big screen.

1. Moon (2009) - 48th
.
6. Shaun of the Dead (2004) - 20th
.
8. Sin City (2005) - 47th
9. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) - 15th
.
11. Million Dollar Baby (2004) - 57th
.
13. Cast Away (2000) - 69th
.
20. Unbreakable (2000) - 62nd
21. Gladiator (2000) - 40th
.
22. Watchmen (2009) - 87th
23. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) - 63rd
.
25. Inglourious Basterds (2009) - 18th

Have seen so far: 29: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - A Good sequel but I prefer the 1st and 3rd movie over this one.
Have not seen so far: 61

Seen both, voted for none...

I saw Amélie a couple of years ago, but can barely remember anything. I do remember it has some charm, but overall not caring about it that much.

Like all three LOTR, The Two Towers is great, but it's my least favorite of the three. As good as it is, I do think it suffers from patches that drag too much (the Ents scenes are tedious as hell) and some unnecessary or clunky developments (Eowyn giving puppy eyes to Aragorn), but it has other bits that are amazing and the fights are excellent. Still, no vote.

The road to the end...

Seen: 69/86

My ballot:

My family watches the LOTR trilogy often. We've made a seasonal thing out of it around Thanksgiving. Sometimes we include the Hobbit movies. But Two Towers didn't make my list.

Same, it's like a bi-monthly thing for me on a Saturday.
I got the extended cuts on DVD and happily sit through them for 12 hours, pigging out to chocolate and Doritos

Wut, 2nd best imo (and I was in it). ROTK easily weakest (same argument I get involved in every LOTR countdown .

The Two Towers, is class all the way through.
