A doctor (?) goes back to his small hometown with his beautiful wife.
She is bored and finds a lover and they plot to kill her husband.
He is buried but not dead and escapes with the help of his dog, to get revenge on them.
His friend the Sheriff knows what he has done and tells him to get out of town.
I remember it having a title similar to Dead and Buried.
