Why Are Middle-Eastern/Arabic Movies Ignored?

I have hardly seen any so I am not sure on the industry but I am hoping to watch more. Some I have seen:

A Separation
Circumstance
The Other Son (unless this does not count since it was produced by a French company technically?

i dont have a clue thats a good question i would ask the same =/

There is no company here that take this in charge. I think there is enough movies already; must be a reason why no company here.

Speaking of Arabic films. Going to start up West Beirut (Netflix) shortly. Been meaning to watch this from awhile now

But are there enough GOOD movies?
