How to Really Watch a Movie

Tools

Funny how most films that have intermissions require you to change DVDs halfway through anyway.
What I find weird is Goodfellas makes you flip the disc and that's only 2 and a half hours, but Lawrence Of Arabia is near 4 hours long and it plays all the way through without changing the DVD at all.

Welcome to the human race...
Speak for yourself. My copy of Lawrence of Arabia comes on two separate discs, while Goodfellas comes on one disc.

I pause movies a lot. Thats the best thing about dvds. You get to pause, to get food, drinks or go for toilet breaks. Or I just pause and rewind, when I missed on what was happening.

Lol cut to me, watching movies on my tiny school laptop with one earbud in, fingers hovering over the space bar and brightness adjustment in case an "inappropriate" scene comes on, pausing every 5-10 mins when the teacher says something mildly interesting ...

Ha!
As an older Gen X... sigh.

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
Not hardcore enough. Watch weird porn that way and then we will talk.

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

Go pee before you start the movie.. Make sure your setting is quiet.. Don't watch it too late - wouldn't wanna snooze. If you watch great movies, missing a minute could screw things up. Turn off or turn down the phone. Watch alone. Avoid pausing and try to watch it one go. If you can't focus, don't watch.
