Movies with expeditions, traveling involved.

Directed by John Huston, starring Humphrey Bogart, Walter Huston and Tim Holt, this was one of the first American films shot on location outside the U.S.
This is a classic. I know I've seen it long long time ago.... so I don't remember quite well about this movie unless I'll read the synopsis.
That is why I need to make some time and find all the old classic movies and make time to watch them again or for the first time.
Since beelzebubble was talking about Fitzcaraldo, I've searched it today and I found the movie on some of my sources
Gonna watch it these days

Another great movie about traveling is Sideways (2004) which is also about good wine and life. So I'm recommending this movie for all those who'd like to disconnect

Around the World in 80 Days (2004) - this one was also pretty funny.
We saw Steve Coogan in all those "trip films" I mentioned above.... he plays the role of Phileas Fogg in this movie.
Doesn't have a huge rating but it is still enjoyable

The Way (2010). This is the movie that inspired me to walk the Camino. It was a dream come true. Hoping to go back and do it again in a couple of years. It was incredible.

I liked "The Way" very much. A film in which father and son are playing together ..... Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez.
Never been so far But I do plan to visit one day... so far I traveled every time I had time and I could, but mainly through Europe several times through several countries, but never left the continent yet......
Another classic and great movie I've seen like one year ago was:
The Last Detail (1973), a film with Jack Nicholson. About two soldiers (men from the Navy)...instructed to take a young offender (Randy Quaid) to prison to a different city. They have all sort of "adventures" on their way there.

You won't be bored watching it

I've seen Kumiko the Treasure Hunter... pretty interesting and a bit weird.... funny story though ....
I also heard about Sin Nombre.... also had it once, didn't had time to watch it, I probably deleted it, but I'll get my hands on it again

The Tourist (2010)
They say that in real life ..... on the stage when they were shooting this movie Angelina and Johnny just hated each other and couldn't stand one another
Maybe because Angelina likes to keep it clean and neat, while Johnny doesn't mind a bit of dirt beneath his fingernails, nor some food remains between his teeth (like in the Pirates of Caribbean
