A group of children have to save the world. At the end of the movie one of them steals from some shadowy army branch an experimental jet and flies it from some distant place to his house. During the flight he calls his friend who is sleeping on his bed, it's already daylight but before waking time. He receives the call in something other than the home phone. I'm not sure, but I think they show a map with the path the plane is taking, and it's over the American south. I don't remember how he lands, maybe he parachutes. Somewhere in the movie they mention peanut's butter.
