⬆️ Never heard of Bernadine. Is this from 1957?

I see no one has gotten this one yet. Instead of revealing, I'm going to add three more films that have the same connection:
Madame X (1966)
The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu
Mrs. Pollifax, Spy

Well, it's been four days, so I'm going to go ahead and reveal. The connection between the films listed is that they all feature a cinematic swan song...each film features an actor making their final film appearance. Mary Poppins was the last film made by Jane Darwell. Gladiator was the final film of Oliver Reed. Bernadine was the final film appearance of the first Best Actress winner Janet Gaynor. Madame X was the last film featuring Constance Bennett. Peter Sellers made his final film appearance in The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu. Mrs. Pollifax, Spy was the last film Rosalind Russell made. Wicked Stepmother was Bette Davis' last film and Elizabeth Taylor made her last appearance in a theatrical film in The Flintstones.

Interesting game, but very hard. I know all the movies except The Awful Truth, but can’t figure out a connection among the others.
