1987, 33 years ago and was quite a fine year for movies but still have good memories of being 5 years old living in St Louis and seeing Six flags even world's of fun in Kansas City and even when i flew to Albuquerque where my grandparents lived and drove to Laughlin where i had 2 days there and seen craptons of movies on video, theaters and all.

My all time favorite is Robocop - it sums up that year perfectly and gives great nostalgia. It has aged fairly well too and is more than just an action flick.
