That elusive hide-and-seek cow is at it again
Re: gross pics. Are we talking Kuato, here? I mean, you're not climbing from the belly of Marshall Bell or anything weird, are you?

Man. I need to send you a copy of Herodotus' Histories so that you can ask people to read it to you while you eat plums (wait, I'm going somewhere with this). Then you can say with a practiced, slightly lisped English voice, "It is a very plum ....plum."

Well. That cracks me up, at least.

Maybe Bell was climbing from Kuato’s back. Did you ever think of that? maybe Kuato was the normal one All along

Good to see you poking around the keyboard again. So, what's up with you trying to copy my act? Look man, if you wanna maim yourself you gotta be willing to give up a whole finger... At least that's what my daddy used to say. Good to have you back buddy.

Man your dad must've been weird.

But yeah, you've got me story-topped on this one, for sure.

I think he was the same guy that said: " In the mine field of life, you gotta be willing to lose both feet.'' Wait... No, that's a movie. Oh well, nevermind.

I super duper swear. Cross my heart.

I did eat about half an hour ago, but I should be good.

The Adventure Starts Here!
Yeah, I ain't super-swearing anything. Yoda got his hereditary propensity for stitches from me, and I just don't need to see a picture of my firstborn's ugly injury. Verbal descriptions have been quite enough for me. Just the picture of him at the specialist kinda makes me sad.

Love ya, Yods. Keep up the rehab, and hug Ike for me!

I'd like to see the pic, and won't get upset (I never get upset . Good job not emotionally overreacting to all this. Might not be a bad idea to offer to put a spike in the owners yard the dog's leash could be latched to because if the pooch bit a little kid, or ever would, the dog would be put down.

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
And I do have gross pictures, but some are gross enough that I should probably only PM them, and only to people who super swear they won't be upset.

Thank you for not posting the gross pictures in the thread. Some of us, (or maybe it's just me), don't want to see them.

The issue with pit bulls is not that they're inherently anything (other than incredibly loyal) ...
There’s a pittie on my street (safely & always behind a fence) whom I’ve known since he was a puppy. Even if I don’t see him outside for months he never forgets me & goes completely mental when I walk by. He jumps on the fence & I stroke his head, but I am very careful with him because he is an animal.

Here's a safe one at the hand specialist the morning after.
Oh, that will do it for me, thanks.
I'm the lest ambidextrous person you'll ever meet.
I broke my dominant wrist 4 years ago. I had no idea that so many things could not be done at all without a working wrist. Got caught in the rain one day & had to ask a total stranger to put my umbrella up for me. Lots of stuff like this.

I’m with you. I can imagine it without actually seeing it.

Stitches just came out, talked to the specialist about the recovery. Got almost entirely good news: should get back to normal, healing well, movement suggests no tendon or nerve damage, and the issues I'm still having are perfectly normal and don't suggest any long-term problems.

Only "bad" news is that the swelling could take weeks or months to go down, which is a little surprising, but still not a huge problem. All in all, could have been a lot worse, long-term, even though it was pretty awful in the short-term.

Glad to hear the prognosis is good
Chyp someone hacked your account, this post doesn't seem too contain any pun. Not even a joke of any kind, just a well-meaning sentiment. Hope you're doing okay, wherever you are.

To be totally honest I was gonna make a rude comment about the swelling but it just didn't feel appropriate

You're not alone there. I re-read Chyp's post three times looking for an even more cleverly disguised play on words than normal!

Grats on the mostly good news then. I'm glad there appears to be no long-term damage or injury.
