Does anyone hate how you never see smoking in movies anymore?

A bit of related trivia: Burgess Meredith, who played The Penguin on Batman, did not smoke and covered his coughing with some of his quacks.

Yup its more of a nostalgia thingy nowadays, anw i don t watch that much new movies, im into 80s and 90s

I do dislike the "this film did not benefit from the depictions of smoking" or w/e the disclaimer is. Any real noir movie or period piece will have smoking, though. Just was a thing most people did.

This is common habbit and if some one is playing that charcter or role in the movie why one should hate it rather than seeing his inputs in those movies.
