Are femme fatale thrillers too politically incorrect nowadays?

I'm a fan of the genre, but haven't seen any for quite a few years where you have a villain woman who uses seduction and sex as a weapon such as Double Indemnity, Basic Instinct, The Last Seduction, etc.

But I haven't seen any in quite a few years, and I wonder if it has anything to do with our times, and maybe audiences just see such a villain as too non-PC nowadays perhaps?

While I have not seen one of these movies in awhile either, I don't know if it is not PC. I think that it just may be an overplayed trope at this point.

Oh okay, but since I haven't seen one since I think Femme Fatale which was all the way back in 2002, it hasn't been overplayed in quite a while, and may be a refreshing come back at this point I thought.

They still exist but they tend to be terrible
