Sharky's Machine?

Yuppers. Burt Reynolds' gritty Sharky's Machine, which reworks the central plot point from Otto Preminger's Laura but with a heavy overdose of early 1980s style and violence. Great supporting cast including Brian Keith, Bernie Casey, Charles Durning, Richard Libertini, and John Fiedler (the voice of P-P-P-Piglet).

At least I recognized some of the actors in that bunch...Richard Libertini, Henry Silva, Bernie Hamilton, but I still didn't know what movie it was...good job, Claire.
