How come X-men: The Last Stand is so unliked, compared to the others?

I think what it comes down to is how the juggernaut met his end. He was the juggernaut bitch.

Well some have pointed out how the Phoenix plot makes no sense, so maybe I need to watch it again, cause I was paying a lot more attention to the cure plot, that perhaps I missed plot holes in the Phoenix plot.

It was the first bad X-men movie, now we've had other bad X-men movies so that don't feel so special.

Well, it seems that generally people thought this one has too many characters and too many subplots. But after watching the first 3 again, the others have just as many characters with their own subplots going on as well it seems. So why is this one any different than those at trying to pack a lot into one movie?
