Hell yes.

Would love to see this make the list, guys.

But then again, Jaws doesn't even count as a horror movie, so there is silly for you before the thing even started.

Another one from my top 50, Classic!

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
I'm not too fond of Neon Demon (it's still worth watching), but I borderline love They Live.

None of mine on list yet.

didn't see The Neon Demon and I'm not really interested tbh...

They Live is badass no doubt but didn't make my list.

Neon Demon is boring.

I consider They Live more sci/fi than horror. Even if I did consider it as horror, I feel that Carpenter has better horror movies on his resume and would put those over this any day.

OH MY GOD I considered this as I ****ing LOVE this movie.

SO happy to see it on the list!

Seen all so far.

I've called The Neon Demon a failure that's done with style. I didn't like it but I did appreciate what it tried to do. They Live I've seen as a kid. Back then I thought it was mediocre but it's definitely a film I need to rewatch at some point, especially as I've liked most of the Carpenters I've recently rewatched.

Seen 5/6 (hopefully 6/6 before the reveals are done)

Alright so I've seen 6/6 here are my thoughts..

1. I Walked With a Zombie - this made my list it was 25 I was worried this would be a one pointer but I'm grateful that it's not.

2. Neon Demon - To me this is a classic I might have ranked it. It's a slow burn but the payoffs are so good.

3. The House That Kevin Built - Another masterpiece, while it feels long the episodic nature really worked well for Von Trier this is my second favorite film behind Melancholia for me.

4. They Live - Not quite top Carpenter for me, the set design and plotting are solid but the pacing was a little off for me. Piper and David kind of elevate what could have been Carpenter's biggest miss step.

5. The Host - Uneven but watchable, really good FX

6. The Conjuring 2 - It was alright I wish we would have gotten practical effects and not CGI, the CGI kinda killed it for me.

I voted for They Live.

I've never thought of either as horror, especially They Live, but they're both good movies, especially They Live.

How many of your selections do you think are going to actually rank though?

The soundtrack was so good too!

3. The House That Kevin Built

Again I've seen both of these films, but didn't vote for either.

I didn't really like The Neon Demon, though it was certainly a good looking film. They Live is quite a bit of fun, and I feel like I probably should've rewatched it for the Countdown, but it's a bit late for that now haha.

Main reason I haven't seen Neon Demon yet is probably because of the very disappointing Only God Forgives. I did love Bronson and liked Drive, so I will give Neon Demon a try, trailer sure looks stylish af.

The Neon Demon is a film that really grew on me with rewatches.
