(Still prefer the first minute of "Forever More" over what follows, but "Freee" remains just as irritating on a second listen.)

Kite - True Colors vs Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand
("True Colors" is one of my favorite discoveries of this tournament. I've listened to it several times now since first hearing it. Mesmerizing song.)

Quincy Jones - Razzamatazz vs The Smiths - There Is a Light That Never Goes Out
(I think it's impossible to keep the body from grooving to "Razzamatazz.")

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters vs Shivaree - Goodnight Moon
(Outside of this tournament I definitely prefer "Nothing Else Matters," but going to show my nom some love before it gets slaughtered.)
