Looking for really old movie

It was fighting movie, i think main character name was Luke.
He was being trained by some guy who was fat, he would sit and watch Luke run race against the bus while eating donut or something. When Luke beat the bus he had a donut as a reward. In the end those 2 fought in some corner of the street, the fat guy was using a pipe i think, Luke killed him with it in the end.
Sorry for my horrible english, i saw this movie over 20 years ago when i was a kid, and now im desperately trying to find it.

Do you remember if they were using (Asian) martial arts, or boxing, or regular street fighting, or whatever?

What langauge was the movie originally, if you know? Also, with the donut thing, was it somewhat of a comedy?
